Confessions of a Hungry Girl |
Alyssa. 19. Deceptively introverted. Unfortunately, I'm a kitchen-less college student, so I only post recipes on breaks. In the meantime, enjoy taking a peek into my weird life. My name is Alyssa and I'm a little bit obsessed with Hungry Girl. "What's Hungry Girl?" you may ask. Well, besides being a female with a hearty appetite, Hungry Girl is a company started by Lisa Lililen that comes up with crazy-delicious guilt-free recipes. After hearing about Hungry Girl on some talk show (The Doctors? The View? Who knows.), I visited the Hungry Girl website for the first time. Let me tell you, it was love at first sight. I spent at least an hour browsing through the hundreds of recipes, marveling at how low in calories and fat they were. I've now moved on from just the website and the daily e-mail to the HG cookbooks! I love love love HG because I am constantly struggling with my desire to lose weight and my love for food. HG let's me have my low-cal cake and eat it too! HG has given me a way to stay on track with dieting while not having to give up foods that I love. I try out my recipes on everyone I know and they're a huge hit! I've basically created this Tumblr to share the recipes I make and to give some helpful tips. Check out the official HG website at www.hungry-girl.com! |
